Our Story
The Laurens were sitting down at a coffee shop after their weekly walk around Harvard Park, where they talked about their choral experiences. They discussed everything from what they loved, what they didn't, what they wished their was more of, and why they loved choir.
"I miss singing in a chamber group," said one Lauren.
"Me too," the other agreed. "More so, I miss singing with an elite group who truly loves singing music of all kinds. Not just sacred polyphony, not just Eric Whitacre. Everything!"
"What if we put together our own chamber choir?"
"Let's do it."
And thus Cantare Montibus was born.
